DESCRIPTION:Við bjóðum ykkur hjartanlega velkomin á Hringrásarjól Amtsbókasafnsins 2024! Þau eru unnin í samvinnu við Landvernd og Fjölsmiðjuna og hugmyndin fengin að láni frá Norræna Húsinu. \nÍ desembermánuði umlykur hinn sanni jólaandi sýningarrými safnsins. \nUmhverfisvæn innpökkunarstöð verður á sínum stað.\nSkiptihilla sem Fjölsmiðjan lánar verður á staðnum þar sem öllum er velkomið að koma með hluti sem þau eru hætt að nota en vilja gefa framhaldslíf. Einnig er fólki velkomið að taka eitthvað sem gæti nýst þeim. Í hillunni má einnig koma með smádót ef ské kynni að jólasveinar ættu leið hjá. Á fataslá má koma með eða taka spariföt fyrir fólk á öllum aldri\nÍ einu horninu verður svo innskot þar sem skreytt verður með umhverfisvænu jólaskrauti\, annað hvort föndruðu úr endurunnu efni eða fengið í Fjölsmiðjunni. Í kósíhorninu verður hægt að setjast niður og slappa af\, jafnvel lesa blöðin eða nota nuddtækið okkar. \nLíklega á eitthvað eftir að bætast hér við\, fylgist með og verum umhverfisvæn saman í desember! \n—\nWe warmly welcome you to the Amtsbókasafniðs Circular Christmas 2024! They are made in collaboration with Landvernd and Fjölsmiðjan and the idea was borrowed from the Nordic House. \nDuring the month of December\, the true Christmas spirit surrounds the museum’s exhibition space.\nAn environmentally friendly wrapping station will be in place.\nA swap shelf that Fjölsmiðjan will lend will be on site where everyone is welcome to bring items that they have stopped using but want to give a second life to. People are also welcome to take something that could be useful to them. You can also bring small items to the shelf in case Santa Claus happens to be passing by\nYou can bring or take thrifted clothes for people of all ages at the clothes rack.\nIn one corner there will be an insert where it will be decorated with environmentally friendly Christmas decorations\, either handmade from recycled materials or obtained from Fjölsmiðjan. In the cozy corner you can sit down and relax\, even read the newspapers or use our massager. \nThere will probably be more to come\, stay tuned and let’s be eco-friendly together in December!\nWe encourage you to attend the event in an environmentally friendly manner. The bus is free and all buses stop in the city center 300 meters from the museum.
