Landvernd has 6000 members and over 40 member societies, most of which are NGOs. Landvernd supports local nature conservation association around the island.
Landvernd’s board
Landvernd’s board is elected at the annual general meeting and all members and member societies have the eligibility to vote.
Eco-schools Iceland
200 schools including kindergardens, elementary schools, secondary schools and universities are members of Eco-schools Iceland, run by Landvernd since 2001.
